How the Optimizer Algorithm Works

The optimizer uses a three-stage algorithm to find your best streaming combination. Stage one calculates the total cost of all selected services. It sums each service at its chosen tier. Furthermore, stage two scans for available bundle deals that include two or more of your selected services and calculates the potential saving from each bundle. Additionally, the algorithm selects the bundle with the highest saving automatically.

Stage three generates a rotation strategy for households with three or more services. It ranks services by cost. The two most expensive are candidates to keep year-round. Furthermore, remaining services are flagged for rotation. Subscribe for two or three months, binge their library, then cancel and switch. Additionally, this strategy can save 300 to 600 dollars per year for a typical household with five subscriptions.

Optimization Algorithm: 1. Raw total = sum of all selected service prices at chosen tier 2. For each bundle deal: - Check if all required services are selected - Calculate saving = separate prices - bundle price - Track best saving 3. Optimised total = raw total - best bundle saving 4. Rotation saving = (sum of rotated services) x (8/12) (subscribe 4 months, cancel 8 = 67% saving on those services) 5. Per person = optimised total / household size

Available Bundle Deals in 2026

Streaming bundles have returned as services discover what cable companies learned decades ago: bundles attract subscribers with the promise of value. The Disney ecosystem offers the most bundle options. Furthermore, the Disney+ / Hulu / Max bundle at 16.99 dollars per month (with ads) combines three major services for roughly the price of two. Additionally, carrier bundles from Verizon and T-Mobile sometimes include free streaming services with eligible phone or internet plans.

Disney+ / Hulu$12.99$19.99$7.00 – $15.98

The Rotation Strategy

The rotation strategy is the single biggest money-saving technique for streaming households. Keep your one or two most-watched services active year-round. Furthermore, subscribe to additional services for two or three months at a time, binge their exclusive content, then cancel and rotate to the next service. Additionally, the FTC click-to-cancel rule in 2026 now requires services to make cancellation as easy as sign-up, making rotation friction-free.

A typical household with five ad-free subscriptions spends about 78 dollars per month. That adds up to 936 dollars per year. Furthermore, keeping two services and rotating the other three cuts costs significantly. Subscribing four months each drops the annual total to about 600 dollars. Additionally, this saves over 300 dollars per year without missing any content, since most services release their biggest shows in defined seasons.

Rotation works best with services that have seasonal release schedules. Subscribe to Max when a new HBO series premieres. Furthermore, pick up Paramount+ during NFL season. Additionally, add Apple TV+ when a new season of a prestige show launches. Keep Netflix and one other service as your year-round base.

Multi-Currency Support

Streaming prices vary significantly across regions. This tool supports seven currencies and converts all prices automatically. Furthermore, USD base prices convert using the exchange rate for each currency. Additionally, some services offer lower regional pricing in markets like India, while others maintain near-parity with US pricing in markets like the UK and Australia.

Regional pricing differences can be substantial. Netflix Premium costs 24.99 dollars in the US. In Australia, it costs approximately 28.99 Australian dollars. Furthermore, Indian pricing is dramatically lower. Netflix Mobile costs 149 rupees per month, about 1.80 dollars. Additionally, UAE pricing generally tracks close to US dollar pricing due to the AED peg.

Export and Sharing Features

The optimizer provides three export options for saving and sharing your analysis. Copy Summary generates a formatted text summary. Paste it into notes, email or messaging apps instantly. Furthermore, Export CSV downloads a spreadsheet-compatible file with service names, tiers and monthly costs for further analysis in Excel or Google Sheets.

The Share Link feature generates a URL that encodes your service selections and tiers. Furthermore, sharing this link lets household members see the exact same setup. They can discuss changes before committing. Additionally, the link opens the optimizer with all services pre-selected, making collaborative decision-making simple.

Competitor Gap Analysis

Most streaming comparison tools simply list prices without actionable optimisation. The FreeSubscriptionTracker shows total cost. However, it does not detect bundle savings automatically. Furthermore, calculator.net offers basic price comparison only. It lacks rotation analysis, multi-currency support and household splitting. Additionally, no competitor combines all four features in one free tool: bundle detection, rotation, budget analysis and export.

This optimizer goes beyond price listing by running an algorithm that detects available bundles matching your selection, ranks services by cost for rotation recommendations, calculates per-person cost for household sharing, and provides budget utilisation analysis. Furthermore, the multi-currency support with seven currencies serves international users that all English-language competitors ignore. Additionally, the export and share features enable household collaboration on subscription decisions.
