🎲 Random Line Picker

Paste a list (one item per line), choose how many to pick, and draw random items fairly.

6 items

Randomly draws items from your list — for raffles, giveaways, picking a winner, assigning tasks or making a decision. Uses your browser\'s cryptographic random generator for a fair, unpredictable draw. "No repeats" draws distinct items (up to the list length); unchecking it allows the same item to be drawn more than once. 🔒 In your browser.

How the random line picker works

Enter one item per line, set how many you want, and the tool draws them at random using your browser's cryptographic random-number generator (Web Crypto) for an unpredictable, unbiased result. "No repeats" shuffles the list and takes the requested number of distinct items; unchecking it lets the same item be drawn more than once.

Because it runs entirely in your browser and uses cryptographic randomness, the draw is fair and your list never leaves your device — good for private raffles, prize draws, sampling and quick decisions. For "no repeats", you can't draw more items than the list contains.

Frequently asked questions

How do I pick a random item from a list?

Paste your list with one item per line, set the count to 1, and press Pick. The tool selects an item at random. For a winner draw, that's your winner.

Is the random pick fair?

Yes — it uses the browser's cryptographic random generator (Web Crypto), which is unbiased and unpredictable, unlike some simple pseudo-random shortcuts. Every item has an equal chance.

Can I pick more than one at a time?

Yes — set the number to pick. With "no repeats" it draws that many distinct items (up to the list size); without it, the same item can come up more than once.

Can the same item be picked twice?

Only if you uncheck "no repeats". By default the tool draws distinct items, so nobody wins twice in a single draw.

Is my list private?

Yes — everything runs in your browser and the list is never uploaded. It's suitable for private raffles, giveaways and any list you'd rather not send to a server.
