Are these travel calculators accurate?
The geometry is exact: flight distance uses the haversine great-circle formula on a mean Earth radius of 6,371 km, and road-trip and budget maths are straightforward. The estimators (flight time, jet lag, baggage limits, tipping customs) rest on typical real-world figures that vary — each page cites its source and explains the assumptions.
Do these use my location or send data anywhere?
No. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — no location access, no accounts, no currency conversion calls. Your inputs never leave your device, and the tools work offline.
Do the tools convert currency?
No — the tip and budget tools work in whatever currency you type, with no conversion. That keeps them private and offline; live exchange rates would require sending your figures to a server.
Can I rely on the baggage and tipping figures?
Treat them as guidance. Baggage limits vary by airline and fare and tipping is cultural and changes over time, so we show common reference figures with clear caveats — always confirm your specific airline's rules, and read the bill for service charges.
