How the decision matrix works
A weighted decision matrix turns a fuzzy choice into a transparent calculation. List your options as rows and your criteria as columns, give each criterion a weight for how much it matters, then score every option 0–10 on each. The tool multiplies score by weight, sums across criteria, and ranks the options — highlighting the winner. Because the weights and scores are explicit, you can see exactly why one option came out ahead, and adjust if the result doesn't feel right.
The real value isn't the final number — it's that the matrix forces you to name your criteria and how much each matters before you look at the options, which defuses the bias toward whatever you already favoured. If the "winner" surprises you, that's information: either a criterion is mis-weighted, or your gut was leaning on something you hadn't made explicit. Everything is computed and saved on your device.

What is a decision matrix?

How do weights work?
