How the add business days calculator works
Starting from your date, the tool steps forward one calendar day at a time, counting only Monday–Friday, until it has counted the number of business days you entered; enter a negative number to step backward instead. The start day itself isn’t counted, so “add 1 business day” to a Friday lands on the following Monday.
This answers the “what date is X working days from now?” question behind service-level agreements, payment terms (net-10 business days), notice periods and shipping estimates. It skips weekends but not public holidays — those vary by country and region, so check your local calendar and subtract any holidays that fall in the range. Unlike a business-days *counter* (which measures the gap between two dates), this projects a new date forward or backward. Everything runs locally.
