How the add business days calculator works
Starting from your date, the tool steps forward one calendar day at a time, counting only Monday, Friday, until it has counted the number of business days you entered; enter a negative number to step backward instead. The start day itself isn’t counted, so “add 1 business day” to a Friday lands on the following Monday.
This answers the “what date is X working days from now?” question behind service-level agreements, payment terms (net-10 business days), notice periods and shipping estimates. It skips weekends but not public holidays. Those vary by country and region, so check your local calendar and subtract any holidays that fall in the range. Unlike a business-days *counter* (which measures the gap between two dates), this projects a new date forward or backward. Everything runs locally.
