💧 Kinematic Viscosity Converter

Convert kinematic viscosity units — square metre per second, square millimetre per second, stokes and centistokes. 1 cSt = 1 mm²/s; oil viscosity grades are given in centistokes.

1 m²/s = 1000000 mm²/s

1 square metres per second = 1000000 square millimetres per second

1 × 1000000 = 1000000

1 m²/s equals 1000000 mm²/s, so multiplying by 1000000 converts the value. The result describes the exact same quantity — only the measuring stick changes.

Square millimetre / second mm²/s One millionth of a m²/s (10⁻⁶ m²/s), numerically identical to the centistokes. The practical SI unit — water at 20 °C is about 1 mm²/s.
