How the days until date calculator works
days = target date − today, counted in whole calendar days. A future date gives a positive countdown; a past date counts up from then. Weeks are the day count ÷ 7, and the weekday figure counts only Monday–Friday between the two dates.
Example: If today is June 1 and the target is June 15, that's 14 days (2 weeks) from now, with 10 weekdays in between.
Counting is done in whole days from midnight to midnight, so time of day doesn't affect the result. The weekday total (Monday–Friday only) is handy for working-day deadlines like shipping, notice periods or project timelines. For a past date, the tool tells you how long ago it was. Everything is computed locally in your browser.
